Investing in real estate now in April of 2008

This is an excellent time to start investing in real estate. When everyone else is running for the door, it's the best possible time to use contrarian thinking and go the opposite direction.

If everyone else is saying it's a hot market, that's the time to sell. If everyone else (the media) is saying it's a bad market, that's the time to buy. Of course be selective, but you can make excellent profit right now by simply employing contrarian thinking.
